The photo below is of Dave S.'s Beautiful Jet Exec. I worked with Dave on his Exec 90 several years before this photo was taken. Dave then tore the Exec 90 down and converted it into the ship you see in this photo. I did not have the opportunity to fly with Dave. He asked me to travel to his home to provide auto rotation training. Before I could schedule the instruction trip, Dave experienced an RF interference problem with his governor that shut is engine down at altitude. The Jet Exec had the short factory skids and rolled over upon ground contact, substantially destroying it. This is the before photo below.
Following the unfortunate crash (which most likely would have been survivable for the ship with my longer skid modification), Dave sold the wreckage to Ron Fornier who turned it into the ship that you see pictured below. I went to Ron's home and provided him transition training in this rebuilt ship. One thing Ron did after talking with me on the phone was to install longer skids as you can see in the photo.
